Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Intensive Outpatient Therapy (IOP)
Medication Management
Mission Statement
Positive Changes is committed to the provision of exceptional
mental health services, which promotes change, growth and
enrichment opportunities to help our children and families
reach their highest potential.
Directed by a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, the professional
management team has Registered Nurses, Licensed Therapists, and Mental Health
Technicians.  The program is designed to integrate these patients into the community
by teaching adaptive living skills and socially appropriate behaviors.
                             Program Philosophy
The program is able to address moderately intense mental health and
behavior problems. Typically, clients accepted to Partial Hospitalization Program
(PHP) or the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) have been unsuccessful in less
intensive treatment settings or are being stepped down from a more intensive
level of care. The program is designed to help patients develop the skills
necessary to continue to progress in outpatient therapy. Positive Changes PHP
and IOP follow the best practice model of illness management and recovery
principles of psychiatric intervention. Additionally,  our staff of Master's level
therapists and Bachelor level life skills (BHRS) and nurses work in partnership
with internal and external referral sources to insure smooth transitions from one
level of care to another. Commitment to service excellence and quality of care for
our clients, their families and their referral sources is the standard, not the
exception.
